Zhipu AI is a Tsinghua-affiliated large-model vendor that develops the GLM (General Language Model) series. The GLM-5.x series spans multiple tiers—flagship (GLM-5.2, 1M context) / Flash (free) / Code (code-specialized)—and is known for strong reasoning, long context, and excellent value. Zhipu is one of the earliest vendors in China to open-source large models.
